Four's Finger Food Feast
All fours & TK classes will participate in the Finger Food Feast in The Courts (gym). Menu items include chicken tenders, individual bags of chips, cheese sticks, individual apple sauce pouches, and individual wrapped desserts. A list will be provided with a specific menu item that your class is responsible for bringing. In addition, each class will come dressed up as turkeys to our feast. Each class will be assigned a table in the gym. Decorate your assigned table in the gym with placemats, napkin holders, centerpieces, etc. If you have questions or need patterns let office staff know. Your Team leader is a great source for information on decorating tables. Also, the children will sing a few songs for their parents (music teacher coordinates songs). Your kids will practice on the stage in the gym on the day of your Finger Food Feast. Families are invited to attend and eat with their child. As space is limited, RSVP’s from families are requested to determine the number of seats per family.
This event runs over two days. Each “Feast” begins at 12:00 pm each day. Class assignments for each day will be made and distributed in advance.
On your assigned FFF day, your class tables will have clean brown “kraft” butcher paper laid out on your tables. Each class gets one row of (6) six foot rectangle tables for your class and families. The amount of guests will be based on the number of students you have and the amount of chairs at your table which is 60 total. There are six chairs (three on each side) placed at every table. See the photos below to understand the layout of class tables.
Each class will receive a class set of kraft color paper bags (for the students to carry all their crafts home in). You can choose to decorate these if you like as well.
Teachers/staff with students attending Finger Food Feast will be permitted to take their lunch break at their performance time. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to allow teachers out of the room for the entire duration of the feast part (eating at the tables). Please keep to your child’s performance time for this. If you are required to have a floater to cover you for ratio purposes, one will be assigned to you in advance.
