TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN

2018-19 Registration Process

Thank you for your interest in Kid Care!  We strive to provide a very positive first learning experience for every child who enters our program.  Our primary goal is to instill a love of learning along with a firm foundation of faith in each child.

Student Registration for 2018-2019 is underway for current students and their siblings.  Open enrollment for new students will be on February 1, 2018 at 10am.  We use a lottery style selection process so there is no need to be extra early.

Your child’s spot will be secured with payment in full of the registration fee. There are limited spots available. For questions about current openings, please contact Carey Lube.  You may download a copy of our Parent Policies Handbook to get more information about our policies and procedures.

After your child is registered, please fill out and return the appropriate paperwork below to the Kid Care desk in person, to Carey Lube via email at carey.lube@cottonwoodcreek.org or by fax 214.983.1026.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT FOR REGISTRATION AND TUITION PAYMENTS?

We accept cash, check or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) for registration and tuition payments. The most convenient method of monthly tuition payment is through our payment processor, Tuition Express.  We can automatically charge your credit card or draft your bank account with your authorization so you don't have to remember when tuition is due!  There is an authorization form in each registration packet or you can stop by the front desk and pick one up.

WHAT IS CHAPEL?

Chapel is large group time, led by the Directors, where all students in our Preschool and Kids Day Out (3 years old) meet in The House of Worship. This is an energetic and exciting time for our students to learn songs, hear stories, watch skits and learn Bible verses. Mixed into the fun is learning good worship manners and how to care for God's house. Parents are always welcome to join in this fun filled time together as we teach God's word!

WHAT DO I NEED TO PACK FOR MY CHILD?

Each school day, you will need to pack a healthy snack, lunch and water bottle. We ask that you pack all items ready to eat. We work up an appetite playing and learning!  Your child will also need a change of clothes inside a zip-top plastic bag in their bag every day just in case there is an accident.  You will also provide diapers for your own child until they are potty-trained.  Some children also nap at school and will need a nap mat.  See next question!

WILL MY CHILD NAP AT SCHOOL?

Our younger classes have a daily scheduled nap time. All Kids Day Out students (except 3 year olds) need to bring a nap mat and anything that will help them rest in the afternoon (a special blanket or lovie if they have one). Most classes nap between 12:30p - 2:00p, but each class sets their own schedule and your teacher will post this outside the door. Our 3, 4 and 5 year olds have a short rest time each day, but no nap.
